Terms of Service

Tone AI is a browser-based tool that generates audio tracks and short videos from material you provide — a video you already have, a recording of your voice, or an image. It is provided on a pay-as-you-go basis and is intended for creators producing short-form content.

An account is required before any feature can be used. Accounts are created by signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to that Google account secure, and for all activity under your Tone AI account.

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction. One person may not operate multiple accounts to circumvent credit purchases.

The service runs entirely on prepaid credits. Each successful generation consumes 10 credits, regardless of which channel produced it. Credits do not expire.

There is no free tier, no free trial and no complimentary credits. Credits must be purchased before any feature will run.

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Credits are added to your account only after that payment is confirmed directly to our servers. Credit validation and deduction happen on our servers, never in your browser.

A generation that fails does not consume credits. If a failed generation is charged in error, contact us and it will be corrected.

You keep all rights to the material you provide. You grant us only the limited, temporary permission needed to process that material and return a result to you.

You confirm you have the right to use the material you submit. Do not upload content you do not own or have permission to use, content depicting a person without their consent, or content that is unlawful.

Output generated for you is yours to use, including commercially. We claim no ownership over it.

Generated audio does not reuse the audio of any source you provide — the analysis layer reads structural characteristics such as tempo, energy and transition points, and an entirely new track is composed from them.

Watermarking. Generated audio carries an inaudible SynthID watermark applied by the underlying model provider, identifying it as AI-generated. This does not restrict your use of the output. Separately, videos produced by the Hum to Hit channel carry a visible Tone AI mark, because that video's visual content is our own creation; videos produced by Meme to Banger carry no mark of any kind.

Generative models can produce similar results for different users. We do not warrant that any output is unique.

You agree not to use Tone AI to:

• create content that harasses, defames or impersonates a person;
• infringe another party's copyright, trademark or likeness;
• generate unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit material involving minors;
• circumvent, probe or overload the service, its rate limits or its credit system;
• resell or redistribute access to the service itself.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. Credits on a terminated account are forfeited.

Generated audio and video are stored in your own browser so you can play them back instantly. They are not retained on our servers. A permanent copy exists only once you press Download and the file is saved to your device. Clearing your browser data removes anything you have not downloaded.

The service depends on third-party AI models and infrastructure and is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular quality of output, or any commercial result — including views, engagement or revenue.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of Tone AI is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost audience or lost data.

Credits are non-refundable. The full position is set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes are reflected in the revision date above. Continuing to use the service after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
