Privacy Policy

Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, name and Google account identifier. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Billing records. Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy. We store the fact that a purchase occurred and the credits it granted. We never see or store your card details.

Usage records. We record that a run happened, which channel it used and what it cost in credits, so your balance is accurate and disputes can be resolved.

This is the part most services get wrong, so it is worth stating plainly:

• Source videos are never uploaded. For Trend to Music, audio is extracted from your video inside your own browser. The video file itself does not leave your device.
• Generated files are stored locally. Finished audio and video are held in your browser's storage so you can play them back instantly. They are not kept on our servers.
• Downloads are yours alone. Once you press Download the file is on your device and we have no further copy of it.

Audio, images and recordings that must reach an AI model to be processed are transmitted for that purpose and are not retained by us afterwards.

To authenticate you, to maintain an accurate credit balance, to deliver the run you paid for, to prevent abuse of the credit system, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

• Google — sign-in, and the AI models that perform analysis and generation.
• Supabase — account records and credit balances, stored in Postgres with row-level security so an account can only ever read its own data.
• Cloudflare — hosting and request routing.
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and merchant of record.

Each processes data only to provide its part of the service, under its own privacy terms.

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and its IndexedDB storage to hold generated media for playback. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Clearing your browser data signs you out and deletes any generated media you have not downloaded.

Account and billing records are kept while your account exists and for as long afterwards as accounting rules require. Generated media is not retained by us at all.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Write to us and we will action valid requests.

Deleting your account removes your profile and credit balance. Purchased credits are forfeited on deletion and are not refunded.

Tone AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and it will be removed.

Changes to this policy are reflected in the revision date above. Where a change materially affects how your data is handled, we will make that clear in the app.
